The advent of the internet has brought many things to light, one being the amount of goodwill some people have.
Reddit user Tanek42 posted this photograph of a receipt his family received after a meal at a local restaurant.
The family visited Italian restaurant Olive Garden after a recent house fire at his parents. The guy who posted the photo online went for a bite to eat with his brother, wife and 3-year-old daughter.
When the manager asked how everything was, his daughter replied, “Grandpa’s house burned down.”
A quick glance at the subtotal will show how one act of goodwill can make somebody’s day.
