A 65-year-old German woman has given birth to quadruplets this week.
Annegret Raunigk who already has 13 children, reportedly gave birth to three boys and one girl.
She now has 17 children and seven grandchildren and dismissed critics who said she was being irresponsible as she will be over 70 by the time the new arrivals start school.
“You can never know what will happen,” she said in an interview last month.
“Things can also happen to you when you’re 20.”
