82% of Irish People Would Live HERE Given the Chance

Nothing beats home but it seems the majority of Irish people would live in New York City given the chance. The survey, which celebrates the launch of the new Beef Pastrami Melt in SUBWAY®, found that 82 per cent would consider living in there on a long-term basis. A similar number have visited the Big Apple before with almost 70 per cent saying they would make a return trip. Why do we always go back? Apparently the big pull is the array of famous sights including Central Park which was voted the most popular landmark with 44 per cent of the vote. It could also have something to do with the fact that over three quarters of Irish tourists say they get a friendly welcome in New York because of a love for their sense of humour.
