Yet again the food industry has managed to surprise us with its various creations from across the globe. With unusual treats and inventive creations constantly being produced, we’ve always had something different to try out.
From Blue Cheese Lollipops to Glow-in-the-dark Ice Cream, here are 14 of the weirdest and craziest food products we’ve come across this year:
1. Glow-in-the-dark Ice Cream
Don’t worry, it’s safe to eat! An innovative ice cream no doubt, its glow comes from the synthesised luminescence protein from jellyfish.

Probably one of the more disturbing foods on this list, this crab-turned-centipede is definitely for the more adventurous types out there.

Fans of cheese will probably welcome this with open arms. These blue cheese lollipops are quite an unusual treat!

4. Eau de Toast
We must admit, we were quite excited to come across this fragrance! Eau de Toast is a real thing and we can only imagine how popular it is. Mmmm toasty goodness.

5. Ramen Noodle Pizza
We’re big fans of noodles and pizza, so it came as quite a surprise when we spotted this Ramen-Noodle Pizza! We’re not quite sure how it would taste though; the mixture is definitely an unexpected one!

6. Bum Pudding
Don’t worry; it isn’t actually made from bums! This wobbly–wonder is a new type of dessert from Japan.

7. Rum and Chocolate Flavoured Severed Limbs
Specially made for this year’s Halloween, these limbs were fully edible and freakishly realistic. We had to do a double take at first.

8. Spaghetti Ice Cream
Germany’s “Spaghettieis”, is ice cream that bears a shocking resemblance to spaghetti bolognaise, so much so that we’re not sure if we’d be able to eat it.

Southern Californian burger chain Slater’s 50/50 came up with a burger that’s completely different from the norm.
10. Sizzling Bacon Candy
Sweets infused with bacon, yay or nay? Even though we’re fans of bacon we’re not quite sure what to make of this one.

For those looking for an easy meal, this could be the solution. It features such tasty delights as “halibut poached in truffle butter in a coconut crepe” but looks a bit nasty when you see it all slammed together.
