We’ve all come across a few gems of chat-up lines in our time, but we’ve got to say, there’s no one quite like the Irish buachaillí for some brilliant one-liners. From telling you about their road frontage to bragging about GAA there are some chat-up lines that really, we're very lucky to hear (ahem). To get a ‘fierce well’ out of a lad means you've really impressed them.

Have you a light? A classic, but a good one. And it breaks the ice a lot easier than the fat penguin. I play GAA Yes it has been said. And yes, it has worked.

I’ve great road frontage Always worth your consideration ladies. Do you know what this t-shirt is made of? Boyfriend material. Yes, very clever.

Are you heading up to (insert random pub/nightclub name). Not very creative, but it gets the conversation going! What time will I wake you for breakfast? What a chancer!
