Debby Chalk, 31 from Southampton expected to find her daughters letter to Santa laden with the same requests as other younger children.
Much to her surprise, she found Bobbie-Mae had written an emotional plea to Santa requesting that he cure her mother’s inflammatory bowel disease.
Debby says, “I have had Crohn’s since 2006, and have been having a lot of issues for the past two years with medications and keeping it under control.”

The letter in full reads;
Dear Santa,
Please if you can make my mums (sic) life better and make her not feel ill all the time, I would really appreciate it.
Just PLEASE!!
Make her life more and more better, it hurts to watch her suffer, so please make it better.
If I had one wish in the whole world it would be to help.’
Debby says, ‘I welled up and couldn’t believe it, makes me so proud to be her mum.’
