11-year-old Girls Pens Heart-breaking Letter Asking Santa to Cure Her Mothers Illness

Debby Chalk, 31 from Southampton expected to find her daughters letter to Santa laden with the same requests as other younger children. Much to her surprise, she found Bobbie-Mae had written an emotional plea to Santa requesting that he cure her mother’s inflammatory bowel disease. Debby says, “I have had Crohn’s since 2006, and have been having a lot of issues for the past two years with medications and keeping it under control.” The letter in full reads; Dear Santa, Please if you can make my mums (sic) life better and make her not feel ill all the time, I would really appreciate it. Just PLEASE!! Make her life more and more better, it hurts to watch her suffer, so please make it better. If I had one wish in the whole world it would be to help.’ Debby says, ‘I welled up and couldn’t believe it, makes me so proud to be her mum.’
