It’s been four weeks since Her.ie girl Amy started her weight loss journey with Weight Watchers. It’s only been a month, but she’s already down 5 pounds and adjusting well to the ProPoints plan.
In this entry, Amy is talking about the importance of tracking, moving a bit more and cooking up a storm.

Another weigh-in down and I am pleased to report that, despite my bad week, I’m down another half a pound! This brings my total weight loss to 5lbs in the space of four weeks. To say I’m thrilled is an understatement.
I don’t know what I can tell you. As I said in my last entry, my weekend involved eating out a fair bit. I do think that the fact I made a conscious effort to choose the healthy option when I was out did help me to stay on track.
I’ve discovered that tracking my ProPoints has is something that has become so important to me. It takes less than five minutes to write down what you’ve eaten every single day and to add up your ProPoints and honestly? In my opinion, tracking is time well spent. It helps to keep me on plan and it gives me a record of my week, so if something isn’t working for me, I can go back and see what the problem was and make a few changes.
Again, I am still being pretty bad on the exercise front. I know that I need to motivate myself more when it comes to getting off my backside and heading out for a bit of fresh air. I’m really hoping that I manage to do a bit more on that front this week.
My main problem is that I tend to get bored when I’m out walking by myself so I plan to enlist a friend or drag my other half out with me. At least then I can have a bit of banter as I earn the Activity ProPoints.
Aside from exercise, I plan on trying a few Weight Watchers recipes this week (I’ll report back on my culinary efforts) and continuing to track absolutely everything.
It’s the start of a new week, I’m feel super inspired and I’m ready to see another minus on the scales next Wednesday!
