We’re all for living a healthy lifestyle but it can be difficult to stick to it when you’re up the walls in work and trying to juggle ten different things at once.
That said, the following change is minimal and has multiple health benefits which sounds like a win win situation to us.
Reducetarianism, co-founded by Brian Kateman and Tyler Alterman, is a relatively new idea which advises eating less meat.
Over the years, studies have linked overconsumption of red meat to certain cancers including pancreatic and colon cancers.
Cutting back also decreases your risk of diabetes, studies have shown that too much red meat is linked to a risk of developing type-2 diabetes.
By reducing your intake of meat, you’re lowering your risk of heart disease and it can also help when trying to lose weight.
Speaking about the idea, Brian said: “With less meat and more fruits and veggies, reducetarians live longer, healthier, and happier lives”.
The good news is you can still indulge in a steak now and again, as long as it’s part of a balanced diet…sounds good to us.
