If you regularly run onto a bus to realise you never put on any deodorant, this little life hack could be just the tip you need to stay dry all day.
Forgetting your deodorant doesn’t mean you have to sweat the small stuff, all you need is a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
So how does it work?
Body odour is caused by a build-up of bacteria on the skin. Alcohol kills bacteria, and removes the odour. As alcohol is one of the main ingredients in hand sanitizer, using it on the area will kill bacteria and eliminate any body odour.
Simply take your hand sanitizer (fragrance free is perfect, but any kind will work) and rub a small dollop into each armpit.
Keep your arms lifted and allow them to air dry. Once the area is pattable, you’re protected against sweat.
Feeling a little damp in the office heat? Alcohol also helps evaporate sweat, so give this a try to freshen up on break.
