Twitter reacts to Leo Varadkar’s super organised fridge

Of course he likes to meal prep.

An Tánaiste Leo Varadkar is no stranger to social media, and he is often keen to share glimpses of his personal life with his almost 200,000 followers on Instagram. However, these little glimpses aren't always met with the warmest reception, and his latest story is no different. On Monday morning, the Fine Gael leader shared a snap of the inside of his fridge, unprompted. The picture shows shelves laden with containers, because, huge surprise, Leo is a massive fan of the oul' meal prepping. "Monday morning," his caption read. "Lunches all ready for the week ahead." The remaining shelves featured what looked like packets of ham, yoghurt and some fresh cheese he nabbed while attending a conference over the weekend. Shockingly, there wasn't a carton of chocolate milk in sight. Naturally, the pic went down a treat on social media, and it wasn't long before the term "Leo Varadkar fridge" began to trend. Some complimented his organisational skills, while others were in awe of how he managed to have matching lids and boxes. One person wrote. While there was some rinsing of Leo's fridge, nothing could ever match Twitter's reaction to the shop bought Battenberg cake he celebrated his birthday with in January. One Twitter user wrote: "Leo Varadkar won't see your tweets slagging his Battenberg cake, but your friends who all have terrible taste will."
