Lucky for you then that Dublin's newest all-day dining restaurant, Balfes, has recently launched the winter menu to end all winter menus - and it is peak Christmas indulgence.
They've got a tender grilled saddle of lamb, served with chickpea mash and roast aubergine with red wine jus.
The restaurant is also serving up a caustic chicory salad with Crozier blue cheese and pickled pear, and a walnut and honey and grilled chicken breast with cumin ballotine, puy lentils and a rich parmesan polenta.
Divine.
And dessert is even more intense.
Diners can avail of some mixed berries with champagne sabayon, a rustic pecan torte with salted caramel or - and this is the one you're going to want - a sticky toffee pudding served with almond ice cream.
Amazing.
The full Balfes menu can be found here.
They've a fairly impressive cocktail menu too so if you're at all in the mood for a liquid lunch, they've got you covered.Doctor issues warning over foods that are ‘worse for you than smoking’
