New York Times Introduces Sausage Rolls To Americans And They Can’t Deal

Don't judge us now but here in the Her office, we have a weak spot when it comes to sausage rolls. Monday mornings would be a lot more difficult without the 'sausage roll run' and people in America have just been introduced to the flaky goodness. At the weekend, The New York Times published a recipe for sausage rolls, describing them as 'pigs in a blanket only better'.

There were a couple of things we disagree with, namely the fact that sausage rolls are NOT just for Christmas. There's frozen mini party food sausage rolls, the deli flaky messy variety and there is of course the gourmet sausage roll with added herbs and spices. We could wax lyrical about how great sausage rolls are all day but these tweets show just how confused some people are by the whole idea.
