Well, I definitely haven't tried this one before...
Yesterday I was up in my grandparent's house and both I and my cousin were complaining about having colds.
My grandmother then told us that she had felt the same but she had made a recipe that my granddad had told her about and suddenly she felt a lot better.
Of course, the two of us wanted to know what it was, but the ingredients were not quite what we expected.
So according to my grandparents, if you have a pesky cold that you want rid of, this will do the trick:
Now I have come across articles online that have said separately that vodka can be good for a cold and that curry can also be very good for abating the symptoms of a cold, so there could be something to this home remedy alright.
In fairness, we have used hot toddies in Ireland for years for dealing with all that ails us, so who knows, the curry vodka could be the next big thing.
Hot water (this should make up most of the drink, so judge the measurement based on the size of the glass you will be using)
2 teaspoons of sugar
Vodka (the amount is based on personal taste but about 25ml should work. If you're using a small glass you may want to use less)
A teaspoon of curry or chilli powder (depending on preference)
