In the recent cold weather, it's hard to know what to be drinking when you get in the door, still frozen from your walk home from work, college or the gym. I just want something to taste good, look pretty but also WARM ME UP, you know what I mean? My wishes and perhaps yours have been finally answered and it's in the form of red wine hot chocolate. Milk
Dark chocolate chips
Red wine
Whipped cream/marshmallows to finish

The method to this little cup of warmth and goodness is completed in 3 easy steps.

Pour milk (it depends how milky you want it) but we recommend 1-1 and a half cups of milk and a third of the same cup full of chocolate chips into a saucepan.
Stir the mixture on a medium heat, making sure the chips melt but don't burn. The mixture should be creamy and thick.
Lastly, for that extra kick, pour in a cup of red wine and continue stirring the mixture on the heat to make sure it's good and hot.

Et VOILÁ! Delicious hot chocolate with a little extra oomph! If you follow your steps closely, you should end up with little beauties resembling these cups of heaven.
