It's hard to believe that Aungier Danger only opened in 2015 - in just two short years the shop has made a serious mark on Dublin's food scene. Word of mouth and social media buzz (how Instagrammable are those donuts, to be fair?) coupled with a solid and very delicious product have secured its success, but founder Phil Costello isn't resting on his laurels and has plans to grow the business even further. "We have been waiting eagerly to find the right locations," he told us.
"It's been interesting watching the market since we opened what feels like a lifetime ago. "With so many others jumping on board what was a non-existent market, it's good to be keeping things moving and the future plans are even bigger!" To celebrate the new store opening, Aungier Danger will be giving out free donuts (yes, free donuts) at the new Merrion Row shop from 8 to 10am tomorrow morning, so you'd better be up early to grab one!
