More and more of us are cutting down on our consumption of meat and other animal-derived products, and being vegetarian and vegan are nowadays considered pretty mainstream.

Well, not anymore – you just have to download this nifty app and voila; you'll never again wonder about where to eat when you are away from home or in a new city. With the HappyCow app you can search for a place to get your food using a variety of filters to suit, including an interactive map. You can even organise shops and restaurants with an upcoming trip in mind. As well as this, you can access directions, reviews and the websites of chosen eateries, plus share your own views and photos with other community members.
