Rosé vodka exists and we need it in our lives ASAP

Jade Hayden

Everybody likes rosé.

Most people like vodka.

Combine the two and you’ve got yourself a delicious drink that’ll make you think of stunning summer evenings on the veranda and dodgy nights out in the club.

We’re not suggesting that you physically combine the two drinks either – that would be dangerous, don’t do that – rather simply relax in the knowledge that a rosé flavoured vodka exists and that everything is going to be okay from now on.

The rosé vodka comes from US drinks company Hanger 1, and according to them, the beverage is a “first-of-its-kind.”

Their website reads:

“Hangar 1 Rosé is a unique blend of ultra-premium vodka and real California rosé wine.

“Distilled near Northern California wine country, Head Distiller Caley Shoemaker was inspired to create a vodka that celebrates local Golden State wine culture.”

Oh, so… they did just literally combine rosé and vodka.

Right so.

Still, the guys are selling it so we’re going to go ahead and assume that it’s a lot less harsh than if you just threw a few glasses of wine into a pint of vodka yourself.

There’s probably a method to it, in fairness.

The colour of the drink is a “delicate” pale pink, it smells like apples, flowers, and trees, and tastes like something silky, something soft, and a bit like wine, probably.

Hanger 1 suggest that you enjoy their concoction on the rocks or as part of a cocktail.

We’d be inclined to go with the latter to be honest seeing as the rosé vodka is 40 percent and all.

Unfortunately for us though, we may not be enjoying this particular drink for a while seeing as its only available for order across the States.

Sure look, maybe one days, lads.

We’ve always got pink gin to get us through the night.
