McDonalds are about to undergo some pretty big changes

Cassie Delaney

We know McDonalds is hardly the healthiest of options, but hey, that’s all part of its charm.

Whatever those McNuggets are made of tastes delicious and they have been aiding hungover people for centuries. But despite their crucial place in society, McDonalds have succumb to modern nutrition and decided to drastically alter their ingredients to be less questionable.

Pretty much like EVERYTHING we know and love is going to change.

Firstly reports from Cosmopolitan confirm that the McNuggets and McBreakfasts are going to be stripped of artificial preservatives.

Instead of chicken skin, safflower oil, and citric acid in your McNuggets, you’ll soon be eating pea starch, rice starch, and powdered lemon juice.

All the buns are going to change as high-fructose corn syrup is banished and instead replaced by sucrose.

All the salads are getting a makeover too with the addition of carrots and red leaf lettuce.

McDonald’s is “following the customers” in switching to sucrose in buns used on Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, hamburgers and other sandwiches said senior vice president of McDonald’s Marion Gross to Reuters.

“We know that they don’t feel good about high-fructose corn syrup so we’re giving them what they’re looking for instead,” she said.

Right, okay, good one.

Well done.

Thanks.

Bye.
