Irish people splashing out on coffee four times a week, research finds

How often are you buying coffee?

New research has revealed the coffee habits of Irish people and you won’t be surprised to hear we’re a nation of coffee lovers.

40% of people purchase coffee up to four times per week and 75% of people surveyed purchase a coffee out as opposed to making it themselves at home.

Looking at the contrast between home-brewed coffee and coffee shop purchases, it was revealed that 48% of people prefer buying coffee over making coffee due to taste, with (29%) stating it was the primary reason they purchased at their local café or shop as opposed to making it at home.

15% of this group also claimed they didn’t have the proper products at home to make a delicious coffee.
