FYI, Dublin’s Little Pyg are celebrating opening with free pizza and cocktails today

Divine.

When you think of Michelin style food substances, what’re the first dishes that come to mind?

Steak, potentially. Fish, probably. Something wildly boujie like fois gras wouldn’t go amiss either.

And although all of the above are absolutely good shouts when it comes to the posh foodie residing in all of us,  a new Michelin style joint has just opened up in Dublin’s city centre that are doing things a little differently.

Because all they’re serving is pizza – and it’s damn tasty.

Situated smack bang in the middle of the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, Little Pyg is Ireland’s first Michelin Guide Pizza Restaurant.

Serving up delicious pies with toppings including but not restricted to aubergine, actual truffles, and an intense amount of Parmesan, the restaurant is finally open for business today (November 14).

And to celebrate, they’re giving out free pizza and cocktails (sorry, Pygtails) for the entire day and night.

Yep, free. No charge. Zero. Just land down, grab yourself a table, and away you go.

The absolute dream, tbh.

This writer experienced the Little Pyg dream just last night too, and she can confirmed without any shadow of a doubt that the pizzas are, indeed, worth the hype.

With succulent and intriguing toppings, and a base that is almost more akin to a pancake than traditional pizza dough, the menu has got enough to keep even the most seasoned of foodies satisfied.

As well as the margherita-only orderers.

Basically, there’s something for everybody, the cocktails are tasty, and the space itself is visually very lovely.

So sure listen, if you’re around the newly named Grafton Quarter this evening, you know where to go.
