Gin and tonic. Vending machine. Free.
These are phrases and words that we very much like.
Yes, for two days only, you can pick up a free G&T from a vending machine.
There are two issues of consideration, however. Firstly, the machine is Old Street station in London (*furiously checks Ryanair sale for last-minute flights). That and the machine itself is sneakily hidden away.
The drink is produced by LoneWolf gin, who have launched the vending machines as a nod to the prohibition era in the 1800s.
Doug Bairner, Managing Director of LoneWolf says:
“Gin distillation is something that runs through the veins of London’s cultural history and this vending machine installation gave us the ideal opportunity to combine innovation with the cunning wisdom of the past to unleash our LoneWolf Gin and Tonic cans on London.
“It took 192 unique distillations to perfect LoneWolf Gin, and our new gin and tonic cans are the latest manifestation of our dedication to delivering the perfect serve every time. Packing a punch at 8.8% ABV, these cans are the perfect ratio of our gin and bespoke tonic, which you can enjoy wherever you are.”
Our gin dispensary is up and running in Old Street Station.

The offer runs today, January 24, between 12:30 – 22:00 – so message all your London mates now and tell them to get you one and put it aside for you.
Tell them that all you have to do to claim your free can of heavenly refreshment is tweet @LoneWolfSpirits using the hashtag #TheWolfOfOldStreet and you will be handed a token to exchange for your drink.
And may we be the first to say that we’re fully behind this incentive and endorse its arrival in the likes of Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Galway, and Belfast on a date soon.
