Coffee is being served in a new way and people are NOT impressed

Are they having a laugh?

Look, we all like good presentation when it comes to food and drinks but this has taken things too far.

There is a new trend in Melbourne, Australia called ‘deconstructed coffee’ which serves coffee in a very unique way. As part of your order you receive your coffee, water and milk all separate and you have to make the drink YOURSELF.

One woman, Jamila Rizvi explained on Facebook that she waited 20 minutes for an actual cup before realising that there wasn’t any to come.

She said:

“I wanted a coffee. Not a science experiment. I prefer to drink my beverages out of crockery and not beakers.

‘Next stage? I’ll just get a chopping board with a bunch of actual coffee beans and an upside down hat on it.

‘This must stop, dear Melbourne.

‘This must stop.”

And it appears she’s not alone in questioning this new trend. It has divided opinion with people questioning the new serving technique and other embracing it.
