Just in time for the bank holiday weekend too.
No trip to the seaside in Dublin is quite complete without a detour to Scrumdiddly’s.
The beloved ice-cream parlour has two shops – one in Dun Laoghaire and another in Donabate – and is a firm favourite of adults and kids alike.
The topping selection is like no other and the ice-cream is in very high demand. However, on sunny days queues quickly wrap around the corner, and while many are very happy to wait, it’s often a deal-breaker for others.
Well, fear not, because from Friday, Tesco will be selling tubs of Scrumdiddly’s, making all our ice-cream dreams come true.
The delicious ice-cream will come in three flavours; Cookielicious, Hazelnut Brownie and Melted Cookies.
For quite some time now, the ice-cream parlour has been teasing good news coming very soon. On their social media channels fans have been speculating over what it could be, with many thinking they were opening a new store.
Scrumdiddly’s ended that wait last night, and delighted fans with their annoucement.
Taking to Facebook to share the news, Scrummdiddly’s said: “So you’ve waited, you’ve guessed, and now the times is here….”
“Scrumdiddly’s will be hitting the shelves of Tesco this Friday with 3 fantastic flavours of ice-cream, secret sauces and yummy toppings.
“Everyone deserves a scrummy summer, so we’re bringing the happiness to you at home.”
The ice-cream tubs, which cost €4.95 each, will be on sale in select Tesco and Tesco Express stores from Friday 4 June, just in time for the bank holiday weekend. However, knowing the sheer quality of their ice-cream, they’re likely to sell out fast, so set your reminders now folks.
In the meantime, Scrumdiddly’s will continue to serve their signature ice-cream, toppings and sauces at their two branches. For more information, check out their social channels.
