Festival Fashion: Irish influencers pull out all the stops on Day 1 of EP

Jody Coffey

The festival style at EP so far has been incredible.

For those of us who couldn’t make Electric Picnic (EP) this year or who, like me, just couldn’t hack the camping life, marvelling at the festival fashion is always a way to feel closer to the fun.

Every year, festival goers come out in their droves and saturate our newsfeeds with some of the most unique and iconic looks.

Let’s take a look some Day One’s phenomenal festi-fashion fits from some of Ireland’s well know faces.

Dev Skehan @dev_skehan

This little pocket rocket is quite literally the personification of a bag of skittles when it comes to festival fashion, always donning colourful and vibrant attire to match her full-of-life personality.

On day one of EP, she once again nailed it, gracing Stradbally in an Aoife Ireland baby blue ensemble, complete with a matching wig. We see your commitment, Dev, and we adore it.

Niamh Cullen @niamhcullenx

The festival queen herself, Niamh, is always at the top of my list to stalk on Instagram for festival fashion.

This rock’n’roll chic look is a re-wear, proving we don’t always need a brand-new buy to look absolutely top-tier.

The hair, the jewellery, the sunglasses, the sleeves, the belt—it’s giving Daisy Jones & The Six.

Cloda Scanlon @clodascanlon

Another sustainable queen who recently came on her stories to promote re-wearing festival fashion, and we’re so glad she did, because this simple yet impactful festival look was one we are happy to see again.

Being comfortable is key at these things, so we absolutely love a look that gives effortless style while also being on trend. I need this star-printed corset.

Killing it.

Miriam Mullins @miriammullins_

This leather goddess stunned on day one in her tan ensemble and silver cowboy boots.

Seriously, only Miriam Mullins could tie her hair into plaited pigtails and look this good, and we are beyond obsessed with her current hair colour.

This is one of the coolest fashion looks, for sure.

Charleen Murphy @charleenmurphy

The mix of fabrics and a belly belt, this outfit is everything.

I wish I had Charlene’s ability to see individual pieces of clothing and create a one-of-a-kind fashion masterpiece. Her creativity when it comes to fashion really is just unmatched.

Absolutely divine look to start the weekend off in.
