There was a certain panic reserved for getting your homework done after Glenroe on a Sunday night.
We all had a subject that could leave us scratching our heads and maths was up there for a head-melt.
This little kid has the right idea though. There’s so way he was going to fret over those ‘take-aways’ alone.
Dialling 911, the eager student asks for help from the operator, who after getting over the initial confusion talks the boy through some of his sums.
Our favourite bit? When his mum finds out that he’s picked up the phone to the emergency services.
His reply?
“You said if I need help to call somebody.”
Amazing.
