Literary superstar JK Rowling has revealed that she will return to children’s fiction with the next book she releases.

The Harry Potter author has said that she is almost finished her next project which will be aimed at an even younger audience than the best-selling series that catapulted her to fame.

JK Rowling made her name with the Harry Potter book series.

Speaking about her next novel to the Telegraph, Rowling said: “As the writer of Harry Potter, I’m always nervous of committing myself to another children’s book, but yes, the next thing I write will be for children.”

And she has even gotten the approval of her own children already which means the work is nearly finished: “I have run them by my children and they seem to like them which is always a good sign.”

The author has just released Casual Vacancy for an adult audience.

Rowling, who has just released her first book for adults entitled Casual Vacancy, also has another idea in the pipeline for that market: “I also have some ideas for another book for adults but isn’t too far on,” she explained.

At this rate it won’t be long until the 47-year-old will have taken over the entire world of fiction!
