Have you ever wondered how many children are diagnosed with cancer every year? How many Irish families are faced with the nightmare of a seriously ill child?

Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin are on the search for the answer to ‘The Big Question’ and have launched their national fundraiser to support children and families in need.

The hospital is urging families, friends, companies and organisations to come together and host a table quiz on November 22 to help raise funds for The Children’s Medical and Research Foundation.

In association with Newstalk 106 – 108 FM, Our Lady’s Hospital is urging people all over the country to hold a quiz at home or in the local area to raise vital funds to support Irish families and children who are in need of their services.

Dr. Orla Franklin, Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist at Our Lady’s Hospital said: “Children are sick – right now. Their illnesses ignore time and circumstance. Their battle for wellness won’t wait until tomorrow.
