Getting your child to eat their greens is often a battle and the sight a half a sandwich being left behind can be frustrating.
However, one creative dad was sick of his kids refusing to eat the fruit and vegetables that he lovingly prepared and decided to do something about it.

Mark Northeast, 39, was thrilled when his son, Oscar, began to eat tomatoes for the first time after he disguised them within a sandwich shaped into his favourite television character Spongebob Squarepants.
Soon, Mark became inspired to create a series of attractive lunches to coax his children into eating their fruit and vegetables.

The elaborate designs, including a piano, a cucumber crocodile and tomato and mozzarella worms have even landed Mark a publishing deal and he will launch his new book Funky Party in the upcoming months.

Although we are amazed by the elaborate creations, we’re not sure that we’ll be buying this cookbook! Preparing meals is enough of a chore without creating works of art.
