YES! We finally have a release date for the sequel to Frozen

It's even earlier than we had thought.

Ever since Frozen was released in 2013, we just haven't been able to let it go. Undeniably one of the biggest movies of that year, if not the last few years, Frozen had everything we could have wanted from a Disney film: an amazing story and even better songs. Which is why it wasn't surprising when it grossed more than $1 billion worldwide - or that it was getting a sequel. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the highly anticipated Frozen 2 is coming out on November 22, 2019. The film was initially scheduled for release on November 29, but has officially been pushed forward by a week. If they want to push it forward another few months (one...three, maybe 12?) we definitely wouldn't mind, though. And while Disney have remained pretty tight-lipped on what the movie would be about, fans have speculated that Elsa will be getting a girlfriend in the new movie. Jennifer Lee told The Huffington Post earlier this year:

"Where we're going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and we're really conscientious about these things. "For me ... Elsa's every day telling me where she needs to go, and she'll continue to tell us. "I always write from character-out, and where Elsa is and what Elsa's doing in her life, she's telling me every day. We'll see where we go."
