Yay! Ant and Dec are to be reunited on TV much sooner than we thought

If, like us, you need something to pick you up on this chilly Monday morning, you'll be delighted to hear that our favourite TV duo are going to be reunited very soon. Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will be back working together on Britain's Got Talent in January, it's been confirmed. Ant has been working to beat his alcohol and drug addiction and took this year's series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here off to focus on getting better. "Ant has completed his recovery and ITV has decided he is ready to be back at work for Britain’s Got Talent filming, which starts next month," a source told The Sun. “It’s been an incredible difficult two-year period but he has been entirely focused on turning his life around in order to return to work. “ITV is very excited about Ant and Dec being reunited – but Ant’s recovery has been everyone’s first priority.” Ant's TV return comes earlier than expected as 2019's series of Saturday Night Takeaway was cancelled as part of his recovery. He officially divorced his wife of 12 years Lisa Armstrong in October after admitting to "unreasonable behaviour". Ant pleaded guilty to drink-driving in April and was handed down a 20-month driving ban and a  £86,000 (€100,000) fine.
