We’re getting a sequel to Practical Magic
Practical Magic is one of those movies we rewatch over and over again every autumn.
It’s witchy, it’s whimsical, and it stars two of the greatest actresses of all time – Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
Practical Magic has become a cult classic since it was first released in 1998, but the story is now continuing.
According to new reports, a sequel to Practical Magic is now in the works.
Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman will reportedly reprise their roles as Sally and Gillian Owens.
The actresses featured in a teaser clip for the sequel, which was shared earlier this week.
In the video, they can be heard saying: “Tooth of wolf and morning dew.
‘PRACTICAL MAGIC 2’ will be released in theaters on September 18, 2026.

“The spell is cast. The date is set. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return. Only In Theaters September 18, 2026,” the caption reads.
If you’ve not yet had the joy of watching Practical Magic, then you need to squeeze in a watch before September 2026.
The synopsis reads:
‘After the death of their parents, two sisters move in with their relatives. They must use the gift of practical magic, which they inherited from their parents, to overcome obstacles in life.’
We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Sally and Gillian Owens.
We’ll be first in line to watch the sequel when it is released in September 2026.
