A chat show with a difference. Some of Ireland's most well-known female stars reveal their secrets and truths on Yvonne Tiernan's new chat show The Couch. Exclusive to RTÉ Player, the six-part series captures women's ability to engage in an open exchange of stories, intimacies, life lessons and wisdom in a frank and open way. The programme sees an impressive lineup of Irish and international stars including Jo Malone, Sharon Horgan, Maia Dunphy and Celia Holman Lee chat about a range of topics close to women's hearts including motherhood, love, beauty, relationships and wisdom. Yvonne revealed her inspirations behind the show, and opened up about providing a forum for women to chat about the daily challenges they face: “I’m a Mum, a Wife, a Sister, a Daughter and a Friend too and I know I don’t have all of the answers. So, I am interested in finding out how other women are dealing with the same challenges. I want The Couch to represent the conversations us women are having everyday so as you can imagine there are lots of tears and laughter on set."
