Of course he meant on stage, but he didn't have time to recuperate before the pause was filled with loud guffaws from the gutter-minded audience.
The Scouser, who now lives in Co. Fermanagh, rose to prominence when his cover of Wagon Wheel got heels tapping all over the country.
He appeared on last night's country music special alongside the likes of Declan Nerny, Big Tom, Daniel O' Donnell and of course, Philomena Begley.
Is it just us, or does Philomena look absolutely chuffed with the slip up?!
