We'll definitely be tuning in.

The Late Late Show ended a few short weeks ago and RTÉ has announced its replacement for the coming summer months.

Callan’s Kicks made its television debut on New Year’s Eve with a pilot episode that gained a phenomenal audience.

The TV series, scripted by comedian Oliver Callan, who also stars, produces and directs it, alongside Republic of Telly’s, James Cotter, is a biting satirical swipe at politics, sport, music and the media.

The Friday night series, which begins tonight at 9.35pm, will feature brand new characters such as Rachel Allen, Nicky Byrne, BOD and Amy, Christy Moore, Imelda May and Ray Darcy as well as old favourites Enda Kenny, Michael D and Paul Galvin.

In this teaser trailer, Callan’s Kicks adds a very Dublin twist in its parody of zombie TV phenomenon The Walking Dead.
