So yeah we kinda buy into the misogynistic gender polarisation of the James Bond franchise because its mildly entertaining and explosions and stuff.
We can ignore the offensive “damsel in distress” portrayal of women because it’s a bit of a tradition that we rarely take serious.
Still, there’s a movie we’d actually like to see and it’s one in which James Bond meets an actual woman. One with a brain and something to offer to the mission that more than a ridiculously toned physique.
