WATCH: First full trailer for Netflix’s Marriage Story is absolutely heartbreaking

The first full trailer for Netflix's Marriage Story is here - and it is just as heartbreaking as you would expect.

The film stars Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson as Charlie and Nicole, a couple who find themselves navigating a devastating divorce. The footage begins similarly to the previously released his-and-hers previews, with both characters talking about what they love about each other. It then cuts to the two of them in the courtroom, before showing them trying to navigate their divorce - from meeting with lawyers to trying to figure out where things between them went wrong. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year, where hit has been praised by viewers. Marriage Story is written and directed by the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach. Laura Dern, Alan Alda, Ray Liotta, Julie Hagerty, Merritt Wever and Azhy Robertson also star in the movie. Marriage Story will be released in Irish cinemas on November 15, before landing on Netflix globally on December 6.
