Too soon?
With the quarter finals of The Great British Bake Off complete we’re coming closer to the end of this season. This also marks the end of the series as we know it with the show moving to Channel 4 without Mel, Sue and Mary.
Paul was the only one who could be convinced to remain on the show with the girls choosing to leave out of loyalty for the BBC. With that, people have been watching the programme while they still can.

But seeing as the news broke after the series was finished filming a few comments and jokes from Mel have hit a nerve.
A few weeks back Mel mentioned that they would be leaving the tent resulting in people getting upset prematurely about their departure from the show and it seems she did it again last night with a throwaway comment that is very relevant now.
In the dessert show last night she said:
“Now we all know that nuts and caramel are an exquisite, delightful combination. Like Berry and Hollywood, they’re a match made in heaven.”
People were going mad after she said this and took to Twitter claiming she had broken their hearts all over again.
