Declan Donnelly is used to presenting with his longtime partner Ant McPartlin but he’s been going it alone for this year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent.
There’s no denying that Dec has been doing a stellar job and even looking at last night’s live final, it’s clear that he has really settled into presenting solo.
However, he made a mistake during the final last night and viewers were very quick to point it out on social media.
As you may be aware, the winner of the popular talent show this year is Lost Voice Guy, comedian Lee Ridley.

As a result of complications with cerebral palsy, Lee is unable to speak and he uses a voice synthesiser to showcase his brilliant comedy routines.
However, Dec appeared to forget this momentarily last night and offered Lee the microphone after asking him a question.
When Lee used his voicebox to play his answers, Dec quickly realised his blunder but people watching at home had already spotted the blunder.
Thankfully, most viewers acknowledged that it was a mistake and overall he did a great job.
