Vanessa Hudgens just spoke about her relationship with Zac Efron and it’s everything

Zanessa forever.

For many of us, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were noughties relationship goals. Watching them evolve from on-screen lovers as Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez to IRL lovers was a Disney dream and one that we shipped and followed to the very end. But, as they kept their relationship quite private off-screen, hardly ever discussing their relationship even after they split, it warms our hearts to hear Vanessa Hudgens talking about how important that relationship with Zac was to her even after all these years. The HSM star still believes her co-star was exactly what she needed at the time, and still thanks him for being the stability she needed during such an overwhelming life period.

"It started off really organically, I could not have been more grateful to have that relationship at the time."

Continuing, the star spoke about dating during filming on the Awards Chatter podcast saying:

"It was this massive phenomenon and [all] eyes were on me. And it’s just a really weird foreign thing to go through. And by being in a relationship, it kind of kept me stabilized and grounded, and I had someone to lean on who was going through it as well. "I pride myself on being a professional, so I was like that aside we are going to move forward and do what we need to do. And we sorted it all out. I think because I was so young, I think that relationship stabilized me."
