Uma Thurman’s upcoming Netflix horror show sounds totally terrifying

Uma Thurman is some woman.

She's a class actor, she's extremely talented, pretty much all of the characters she plays have been instantly iconic. Take Kill Bill's The Bride, Pulp Fiction's Mia Wallace, and the time that she played herself in The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie.  All iconic. All worthy of a mention in our book. So you can only imagine our delight when we heard that Uma was going to be taking her talent to the small screen - the Netflix screen to be specific. The 48-year-old is going to be starring in the eagerly anticipated show Chambers - a series about a woman who starts to experience some fairly strange side effects after having a heart transplant. No, not just shortness of breath or pain in one side. This gal, named Rose, goes on to develop a lot of personality traits that she didn't have before. Sounds scary. At least, it does because we know on good authority (Netflix) that Chambers is a psychological horror series, so we can go ahead and presume there'll be a fair few jumps scares in there. All is well for Rose in the beginning until she discovers some of the more gory details behind the events that led to her donor's death and spoilers: she didn't die of natural causes. (Because that wouldn't exactly make a good horror TV show, would it?) Chambers will be streaming on Netflix on April 26.
