Two of the Strictly Come Dancing celebrities are ‘barely speaking’

Things are said to be tense backstage.

Two of the celebrities taking part in Strictly Come Dancing are reportedly 'barely speaking'. Debbie McGee and Alexandra Burke's relationship has taken a turn for the worst with the pair feuding behind the scenes. The reason they are fighting is down to their competitiveness, with both women being determined to win. The only problem is that their dance partners, Giovanni and Gorka, are best friends. Debbie has decided to keep her dance routine private which has caused even more tension for everyone involved. A source told The Sun:

"There is real drama between Alexandra and Debbie. Obviously they’re both very strong dancers and everyone expects them to reach the final. “But with every week that passes things become even more strained between them. Blackpool is normally a big celebration but it’s likely to be extremely uncomfortable around those two because of this feud. Neither of them is showing any sign of winding down on this."

They added:

"The hardest part of it all is that their dance partners, Giovanni and Gorka, are the best of mates. But they’re both fearless and determined to win. There are going to be fireworks at the top of the tower at this rate.”

It's not the first person Alexandra has fallen out with on the show having previously been annoyed with Gemma Atkinson for becoming close with her dance partner.
