Two Emmerdale stars have just announced they’re dating and it’s so cute

They confirmed their relationship on Instagram.

It’s not uncommon for soap stars to become romantically involved so this couple just becomes the latest in a long list. However, that doesn’t make it any less cute. Emmerdale star Fiona Wade, who plays Priya Kotecha on the soap, has revealed that she is dating former co-star Simon Cotton. Simon played Home Farm Estate client Hugh Bryant on the soap last year and soon after began dating the actress. Sharing the first picture together as a couple on Instagram, Fiona simply captioned the post with a heart emoji. In March, Fiona had teased she was dating someone but didn’t reveal who, saying:

“I’m with someone right now. He’s an actor and writer based in London. “It’s fairly new, we’ve been together since last year and he’s a very wonderful guy, but I’ve kept it quiet. “I just wanted time to get to know him – he’s very special.”

See? SO cute! Fiona has previously spoken about dating co-stars saying that it's the easiest way to meet people for her.

“I have dated co-stars, because you do — that’s how you meet people, you work with them 24/7. “I went out with a guy I worked with in the theatre for a while. Then I dated an actor in the Emmerdale cast after I joined the show. “We were both single at the time and got on really well, but it didn’t work out," she added. "Everything is fine now though, we are still friends.”
