Did you spot this?
The controversy continues.
Viewers have been calling out the X Factor for a number of different reasons over the last few weeks, from that controversial ‘shoe’ scene at Judges’ Houses to the thousands of people who firmly believe the show is fixed, it seems like Simon Cowell and co just can’t do anything right.
You’d think that with a live show, nothing else could possibly cause such drama, but eagle-eyed viewers were quick to jump on one very obvious flaw… and it’s given us a good giggle today.
It was announced earlier in the week that Monica Michael would be returning as the ‘Wild Card’ for this year’s show, and while people debated whether or not she deserved it, viewers lost the plot altogether after this seemingly innocent scene on the show last night… that ‘shocked moment’ that Monica got the call about the good news of her return.
Monica receiving the good news.
While we’re sure there was no other way to film it all, Twitter was NOT impressed.
What a bloody fortunate stroke of luck that Monica had a camera crew in her lounge when she got that phonecall she didn’t expect. #XFactor

Was lucky there was a camera crew in her house to catch that spontaneous phone call #XFactor — Tony Shepherd (@tonysheps) October 31, 2015
The surprise wasn’t the phone call, the surprise was she already had cameras set up in her front room. Do they think we’re thick? #XFactor

“What’s that, I’m the ‘wildcard’?! Well, that certainly explains the TV crew in my lounge filming me taking this phone call.” #XFactor

Why did #XFactor portray Monica’s call from Rita as though it was a shock to her? There was a camera crew in her house… #XFactorLiveShows

Come on Monica. The camera crew filming you taking the call must have been a clue 😉 #XFactor
