Twins sequel ‘Triplets’ has finally found its third brother

It’s been 30 years since the original film united two of the most unlikely duos – Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito – and now it looks like we are one step closer to a sequel. The follow-up movie, Triplets, has been surrounded with plenty of rumours about who would play the pair’s third brother, and finally, we have confirmation. Eddie Murphy has been cast in the role of brother number three and Arnold confirmed the news over the weekend saying: “Funny thing that happens in the mixing of the sperm,” he told Deadline. The follow-up movie will more than likely follow the same structure as the original which told the story of two brothers who were separated at birth only to be reunited years later. The sequel has been rumoured ever since Schwarzenegger spoke about it back in 2012 at Comic-Con, and the movie’s leading men have often said they would love to reunite for a sequel. While nothing has been filmed as of yet, it is being reported that a script is nearly finished.
