Fans of Joseph Delaney's The Spook's Apprentice are in for a treat. The movie adaptation of the much loved book is set for release next year.
Titled Seventh Son, Jeff Bridges plays a knight who had imprisoned a powerful witch Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore), but of course she managed to escape and is now on the hunt for blood.

It sounds a bit on the cheesy side but the trailer’s CGI monsters do look pretty cool plus you know Ben Barnes is in it!
Seventh Son is expected to be released in 2014.
