Like we may have mentioned before, 2014 is certainly going to be an interesting year for Wally Pfister and Christopher Nolan. Although we are pretty sure there is no outright competition between the pair, their two big films are currently battling it out for most anticipated movie of 2014, Nolan’s Interstellar and Pfister’s Transcendence.
Transcendence tells the story of Johnny Depp’s character, Will and his partner, Evelyn, played by Rebecca Hall, who are working together towards the goal of Technological Singularity.
However, an anti-technology group is working against the pair, aiming to prevent a situation where computers will become more important than humans.
This just looks absolutely spectacular. The fact that Pfister, Nolan’s old cinematographer, is at the helm makes this a pretty interesing project.
We cannot wait for this to make an appearance on April 17th.
