Tough Times Ahead For This Eastenders Character

Eastenders fans will know that Kat Moon has been having a very tough time of it lately and it looks like things are going to get worse before they get better. Kat, played by Jessie Wallace, will be told that her Uncle Harry was a serial sex offender. He raped Kat when she was 13 and this resulted in the birth of her daughter Zoe. A storyline to air in the coming weeks will show police contacting Kat after a number of Harry's victims come forward, a decade after his death. Kat and Zoe pictured together As Harry left Kat money in his will, she is drawn into the investigation. When she learns about the inheritance, she contacts Alfie but is furious when he thinks this may lead to their reunion. Kat then ends up meeting a stranger and having a one-night-stand. A source told The Sun: "EastEnders has a rich history of tackling difficult social issues and Kat's continued story is one of these."
