Tonight showed us two jam-packed episodes which did not disappoint.
Coronation Street is one of the most dramatic soaps around which is probably part of the reason why we love it so much and can’t stop watching it.
Following the spoiler that was revealed on ITV’s This Morning, fans of the long-running soap were shocked this evening as one of the oldest characters, Ken Barlow suffered a stroke.
Following the return of his bad boy son Peter Barlow, Ken had a stroke on tonight’s episode which left fans fearing for the octogenarian’s life.

Before Ken unfortunately became poorly, the audience were absolutely THIRSTING for Peter (and we can kinda see why).
Peter Barlow is fit like #sorrynotsorry #coronationstreet

As if that wasn’t enough for one night of soap drama, the Platt family were forced to lock David in the wine cellar of the Bistro to prevent him taking revenge for his wife Kylie’s death.
#Corrie is so emotional right now? @JackPShepherd88 is an absolutely phenomenal actor?? @itvcorrie

Not sure why David is desperate to get out of the cellar. I'd be drinking all the free champagne and wine I could get my hands on. #Corrie

That 'bad review on Tripadvisor' line after being locked in the basement of a Bistro. Exquisite. #Corrie

Will Ken survive? Will David find a way out of the cellar? Will Peter stop being an absolute ride?
It looks like it’s the start of a HUGE week of drama on the cobbles and we can’t wait to see it all unfold!
