Coldplay are currently the early favourites at 13/8, according to Boylesports, following the success of their sold-out Dublin stop on the A Head Full of Dreams tour last year.
The Killers and Radiohead are tied as the second favourites to book the sought after gig, with Muse next on offer at 7/2.
Rounding out the top five contenders is Fleetwood Mac, who are next in the betting at 6/1.

“Slane is back next year and although Lord Henry is keeping his cards close to his chest about who will headline the concert, he has stated that it is a band that hasn’t played there before. “Coldplay are 13/8 favourites to take over the stage in County Meath and are obvious choices following the success of their sell out tour last year.”
