Taylor Swift wasn’t at the MTV VMAs last night leaving people wondering about her whereabouts.
It was just seven years ago on the VMA stage that Kanye interrupted Taylor with his “I’m gonna let you finish but…” speech. Since then they’ve had somewhat of a turbulent friendship which reached an all-time low a few weeks back over Kanye’s song Famous in which he says he could still sleep with her because he made her famous. This turned things very ugly and even got Kim and a whole host of celebs involved.
So with the possibility of Kim, Kanye and Taylor being at the awards people were excited to see what would happen between them.
But when Taylor wasn’t at the awards people began to wonder if it was because of Kanye that she was a no-show.
Well, it turns out she missed it because of jury duty. Yes, it seems even celebrities have to do their time as part of a jury like the rest of us.
One of her fellow jurors was the mother of a fan and told her daughter about Taylor being on the panel. She couldn’t quite contain her excitement at the news and then told the rest of the world through Twitter.
